Lin takes us to the Everglades National Park to explore the
flora and fauna and show people just how unique this wilderness
is. To get amongst the action she takes an airboat, canoes,
jumps in a light aircraft and hikes deep into the forest.
Along the way she talks with the experts to understand the
effects of development on this ecosystem and how the animals
of the Everglades are coping.

population of panthers is crucially low and the experts
are madly trying to ensure their survival. Lin then
takes a look at the delightful manatee and follows them
through their waters sharing precious moments of their
life including nursing the young, feeding and being
cleaned in the fresh springs. Then Lin crosses the border
into South Carolina and takes a look at one of the world’s
most unique feeding behaviours in dolphins. She teems
up with a dolphin expert and follows the dolphins into
their feeding locations and the amazing phenomena of
strand feeding unfolds before her eyes. |
