'ROAR
OF THE WILD'
Episode 4 - Unexpected Paradise
|
| |
|
Hosted
by Lin Sutherland
One
of the last frontiers of wild lands is Papua New Guinea.
Papua New Guinea is a land that still hides native people,
wildlife and abundant seas. With all that natural beauty
it is one of Lin’s favourite places.
Lin travels to the wild and remote untamed land. Here she
visits the small island of Loloata to go searching for Seasnakes
that come on to land. Here she goes night stalking with
Frank her guide where they get hands on with their snakey
friends.
Then Lin heads to Tufi to soak up the local culture and
take part in a custom festival. After the festival it’s
time to canoe through the spectacular Tufi Fjords to find
New Guineas exotic bird of Paradise, in their jungle home.
|
Lin also takes us diving in New Guinea a place she believes
is one of the best in the world. She visits war wrecks
in Madang and Kavieng before taking on the massive deep
drops of New Guineas outer reefs.
Lin also introduces us to fresh water eels and other
wild animals that the locals consider pets. |
